Intelectin-1/Omentin-1 is a secreted form animal lectin that binds to galactose and is a glycoprotein mainly secreted from intestinal goblet cells. It has been known as an adipocytokine that exists in human blood, and is expected to become a new biomarker of metabolic risk factor.

We would like to introduce the following article that indicates Omentin-1 possibly become a new bio marker of cardiac prognosis in patients with heart failure.

Our ELISA product #27361 Human Intelectin-1/Omentin-1 Assay Kit – IBL is used in this article.
